10 Best Women's Matches In WWE NXT History
3. Asuka Vs. Nikki Cross (2017 - NXT)
NXT really spoils us sometimes. Instead of making fans wait for a Network special, they treated them to Asuka and Nikki Cross - in the first ever Last Woman Standing match, no less - on a regular ol' TV taping.
And it delivered beyond all expectation. Cross came out to the ring looking like a woman possessed, prepared to throw everything she had at her undefeated opponent for the opportunity to steal her NXT Women's Championship crown.
There was high-flying, some brutal-looking chair shots, and perhaps the best WWE ladder bump of the year (so far). In short: everything the company wouldn't have allowed its female performers to do a decade ago, and exactly why NXT is so dearly loved by its fanatical following.
