10 Best World Title Celebrations In WWE History

4. Daniel Bryan (WrestleMania XXX)

From one highly emotional moment to another, Daniel Bryan’s World Championship victory at WrestleMania XXX was a jaw-dropping event that’s impact is only amplified by Bryan’s recent retirement.

WWE had received widespread criticism for their treatment of Bryan throughout 2013. As one of the company’s stand-out performers, Bryan had famously been branded a “B+ player” by The Authority, and seemed destined for a life chasing ghosts near the top of the card. The idea that they’d never see their hero reach the top again angered WWE fans, and while the backlash undoubtedly helped Bryan get his due at WM30, that doesn’t detract from the moment.

Defeating Triple H in the night’s opening contest, Bryan earned the right to compete against Randy Orton and Royal Rumble winner Batista for the WWE Championship. With the building completely on his side, but utterly fearful of another screwjob, Bryan eventually forced Batista to tap-out to the Yes Lock and claim the biggest win of his career.

With 75,000 people chanting “YES! YES! YES!” around him, Bryan held both title belts in the air, and found himself completely lost in the heat of the moment. The reign never lived up to expectations, and Bryan was forced to vacate the belt through injury shortly after, but this remains the standout moment of Bryan’s emotionally-charged WWE career.
