10 Best Wrestlers Under 30 (Who Don't Work For WWE)

6. Drew McIntyre

WWE.comWWE.comAge: 29 It wasn't all that long ago that Drew McIntyre seemed like he was set to be pushed as a "next big thing", of sorts, with everyone thinking he was going to win the WWE Title at a very young age. Yes, a lot of them felt he wasn't close to being ready for it, but his booking looked like none of that would matter. Suddenly, his push disappeared, and he never really got back on track, essentially being nothing more than a jobber for the rest of his time with WWE. While he may not have been ready for a main event spot in the early days of his WWE tenure, he's certainly better than he was portrayed as in the latter days of his time there. Even at 29, he still has plenty of potential with his heel work, as he possesses the right "look" and is more than capable in the ring. With his time on the WWE roster, he is sure to become a huge indy free agent, as companies will love to have "Former WWE Superstar" listed on their programs and on their websites for people appearing on their shows. This will benefit him, as well, as he will be picking up extra seasoning. It might even be enough to get him back into WWE one day, but for now, expect to hear a lot from the man now known as Drew Galloway over the next few months, at the very least.
