10 Best Wrestlers In The World Today Over 40
9. Abyss (42)
Much like Kane, Abyss isn’t where he was in his monstrous prime, but he’s still a solid addition to his roster. Also, like The Big Red Machine, he's effectively switched up his character over the years to stay relevant (where you at Joseph Park?).
In the ring, he still has the same power that he's had for years, and he continues to move well for someone of his age/size.
Abyss isn’t used in the main-event scene anymore in singles matches, so it’s a bit hard to tell how well he would hold up in lengthy battle on his own, but the company has done a good job of mixing up his act and protecting him in a tag team with Crazzy Steve.
Abyss may not have Kane-like longevity, in that we’ll be watching him wrestle as he turns 50, but it would be surprising if he hung up the mask before 45.
