10 Best Wrestlers Of 2020

7. Sasha Banks

That Bayley and Sasha Banks spent so much of 2020 tethered to each other made it difficult to separate them on this list, though 'The Boss' ultimately finished lower than her former best friend because of the Asuka feud's myriad bad finishes. Yes, the calibre of work was as high as expected, but WWE's raisin-balled booking practices cheated the audience out of what should have been a dead cert for our Feud of the Year list, undermining both wrestlers at the same time.

Other than that, Banks has delivered at a similar level to Bayley. The SmackDown Women's Champion has had a fantastic year.

Concerns of her being permanently typecast as a secondary figure in the women's division were demolished as Sasha's long-standing relationship with Bayley grew new wrinkles and extra layers of chemistry. They were an electric double-act with a natural, effortless dynamic, and Sasha's performance in their Hell In A Cell bout was particularly impressive. While creativity and effort have never been issues for the hard-bumping disciple of peak '90s joshi, she helped breathe new life into one of WWE's most tired stipulations.

Now crushing it as a confident, swaggering babyface, Banks has broken her pay-per-view duck, ended one of the best title reigns in recent years, and is about to rebuild SmackDown in her own identity, swatting Bayley's away. The women's division is now hers to rule.
