10 Best Wrestlers Over 45 Years Old In The World Today

9. Satoshi Kojima

It's been more than ten years since Satoshi Kojima made history by becoming the first (and only) man to simultaneously hold New Japan's IWGP Heavyweight Championship and All Japan's Triple Crown Championship. Even at age 45, though, Kojima is able to compete with some of NJPW's best. Kojima was an AJPW regular when he captured the IWGP Title, but he returned to the company full-time in 2010. He defeated Hiroshi Tanahashi to win the G1 Climax that year, then beat Togi Makabe to win the belt for a second time. He lost it to Tanahashi at Wrestle Kingdom V, and though he may have spent the past five years out of the title picture, he is still venerated by the company and rightfully treated like a legend by fans. These days, Kojima mostly works in tag team matches, frequently pairing up with longtime partner Hiroyoshi Tenzan. Even so, his skill, charisma, and surprising agility are evident. If rumors are to be believed and Kojima is part of a contingent being sent to All Japan by the company, he will undoubted be a contender to the Triple Crown once again.
