5. Chris Jericho
WWE.comBefore finding fame in WCW and even larger fame in WWE, Chris Jericho was one of the true journeymen of professional wrestling. He worked throughout the USA, Canada, Mexico and Japan. Where did he pick up the versatile experience he needed to work such destinations so early in his career? Perhaps from his days in Stu Hart's dungeon, where he trained alongside his long term colleague and confidant Lance Storm. At least that's what has grown in legend anyway, in actuality it is believed that Jericho only ever trained in the dungeon once. No one really knows and it remains a source of contention in wrestling forums. Still, however much his involvement with the dungeon, Jericho clearly took quite a bit away from it. He credits Stu with teaching him the submission hold which he slapped on Bill Goldberg in a real WWE fight backstage in 2003. Goldberg had charged Y2J over alleged gossiping, but the Dungeon move immobilised the bigger man. That speaks measures of the quality of MMA holds Stu was teaching, for Jericho to be able to put down a 6 foot 260 pounder is no easy feat.
