10 Best Wrestling Matches For A Free Agent Daniel Bryan

9. Marty Scurll

Marty Scurll is quite possibly the most underrated star in pro wrestling today.

While he's been a big deal on the British independent scene for a while and he's starting to get some notice in the U.S. as Ring of Honor Television Champion, he's still not as known as he deserves to be. The man is one of the most complete all-rounders in the sport, and were he a little taller, WWE probably would have signed him up yesterday.

With all that in mind, it's not hard to draw comparisons between the Scurll of 2017 and the Daniel Bryan of 2005. Back then, Bryan was considered the top "underground" worker in the world, and though he was small by WWE standards, he wrestled a brilliant style that allowed him to believably compete with heavyweights.

Bryan versus Scurll would be a technical battle, to be sure, but it would also be so much more - two men with bottomless bags of tricks doing whatever they could to win the match and tear the house down.
