10 Best Wrestling Matches Of The Week (July 18)
3. Roman Reigns & Dean Ambrose vs. Sheamus & Big Show (Smackdown)
What seemed like a generic amalgamation of superstars into a main event for WWE's #2 weekly show grew into something so much more this week. One big spot in particular really turned this match into something special.
This had all the makings of a good match to begin with, but near the end of the bout Big Show took Dean Ambrose to the announce table with full intentions to chokeslam poor Dean through it. As he lifted him up, Dean hooked Big Show's head and dropped him and the giant through the table in a DDT. It was an awesome spot that gave an exclamation point to this match.
Reigns looked like he was going to finish off Sheamus in the ring, but as he was hulking up in the corner Bray Wyatt interfered. The match sadly ended in a DQ.
Wyatt failed with his Sister Abigail attempt onto Reigns and ate a Superman Punch for his troubles. Sheamus also suffered a spear from Roman as Smackdown came to a close.
