WrestleMania might be higher on this list had it been edited down to just one night of action.

In fairness, WWE were between ye olde rock and hard place before their annual extravaganza - Vinnie Mac, in his never-ending quest to make every 'Mania seem unique, decided that it should occur across two nights at the Performance Center. He also loaded up a healthy serving of cinematic goodness.

The result was a twin-pronged entertainment festival that was badly needed in early-April. Over-the-top brawls like The Undertaker vs. AJ Styles (Boneyard) and Bray Wyatt vs. John Cena (Firefly Fun House) pinned down each night, but there was enough aside from those to make 'Mania worthwhile.

Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins kicked the sh*t out of one another on night one, and Drew McIntyre literally reached out to touch everyone watching at home after toppling Brock Lesnar to win his first WWE Title.

WWE made the most of what they had here.
