10 Best Wrestling Tag Teams Of 2018

6. EVIL & SANADA

The Los Ingobernables de Japon pair experienced brand new highs as singles stars in 2018, with EVIL's efforts against Chris Jericho only marginally surpassed by SANADA's spectacular effort against then-IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada. The latter was on-occasion exceptional in the G1 Climax too, though a bizarre resistance from the organisation actually push either of them has confined most of their successes to the tag team division.

These solo struggles aside, the duo have been dynamite in doubles action yet again. Their Tokyo Dome battle with Killer Elite Squad in January was sensational and their phenomenal fight at Dominion with The Young Bucks was one of the best tag matches this year.

Retaining the World Tag League crown ensured their place in another Wrestle Kingdom battle for the IWGP Tag Team Championships they've held proudly in the past - though separate ways may again beckon, it's becoming almost awkwardly clear how much more they offer together rather than apart.
