Kenny Omega and Adam Page, once allies in The Elite, officially came together at the start of 2020 to lift the World Tag Team Championships from SCU's Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky. At the time, it seemed like an odd title switch, considering 'The Cleaner' and 'Hangman' weren't a regular tag team. In hindsight, though, it ended up being the single greatest result in AEW's short history thus far.
Page had begun drinking his sorrows away, which was the initial cause for dissension between him and the rest of The Elite. Despite this, you could always count on him to come to his brothers' aid, regardless of the two parties' opinions of one another. That he had a focus issue, and was still producing banger after banger alongside 'The Best Bout Machine' was astounding.
Together, the duo had outstanding showcases vs. Best Friends, The Inner Circle, and, of course, that match against Elite pals, The Young Bucks.
