10 Best Wrestling Threats Of All Time

3. Come At The King...

Suzuki Bastard Copy
New Japan World

Notable sh*tkicker and fearmonger Minoru Suzuki harnesses the aura of fear and devastation around himself through a believable bad*ss schtick - he'll tell you he's going to brutalise you then then do it, but somehow inflict punishment even worse than initially promised.

That's nasty stuff, but Suzuki's a nasty, nasty man, and a sterling 2018 offered 'The King' countless opportunities to flex at the expense of the poor opponents signed to compete against him. Folk hero and NJPW icon Hiroshi Tanahashi was reduced to that of sh*t on Suzuki's shoe after a difficult submission stoppage loss at New Beginning In Sapporo, but it was a post-match threat that highlighted just how relentless and ruthless the Suzuki-gun leader was.

Addressing a dumbstruck crowd in celebration, Suzuki turned his fury back on his fallen foe as he lay prone on a stretcher. Wrecked knee and all, Tanahashi was forced to absorb a verbal thrashing almost as cruel as the physical one he'd just endured.

Sadist Suzuki practically dared 'The Ace' to try and put weight on the knee he'd destroyed, commenting coldly that if he did, he'd "Break [Him] Again". This wasn't kicking a man when he was down - this was refusing to let him ever stand up again.
