10 Best Wrestling Trios Ever

7. The Brood

Although revisionist history may allege otherwise, Edge was going nowhere and nowhere fast before being shoved into a vampire gimmick alongside Gangrel. His borderline mute, directionless character was struggling for house room on a packed roster before Gangers came along, and it would've been the same for Christian had he debuted solo.

In the bosom of The Brood, E&C had the ideal launching pad to learn and grow as a team.

Their blood bath stunts were unique, and their fiery entrance employed the kind of drama and imagery that'd make any budding pyromaniac moist. Edge's toothy grin in the accompanying pic says it all. He was loving life as he realised how much playing vamp "reeked of awesomeness" and would help his career.

The Brood didn't last as long as it might've, mainly due to the incoming Ministry Of Darkness angle that'd dominate TV. Still, in the nine months or so they were together, the trio developed a neat teacher and student bond that led to bigger and better things for Gangrel's disciples.
