10 Best Wrestling Trios Ever

5. Team Xtreme

If we're being brutally honest for a second, Lita had outgrown Essa Rios' high-flying Latino Cruiserweight character by the time she first performed a Moonsault on Heat. She had star written all over her, and a real-life relationship with Matt Hardy was the best thing that could've happened to her.

Truthfully (again), it was a blessing for The Hardy Boyz as well.

Their poster-boy good looks mixed well with Lita's blatant sex appeal. When she palled up with the siblings and started getting cosy with Matt, people were ready to embrace their new millennium hotness. Team Xtreme was born, and it elevated all three. Meanwhile, his meal ticket gone, poor Essa dwindled down the card.

It's hard to describe to younger fans just how cool The Hardyz and Lita were in 2000-01. Their devil-may-care big bumps, love of alternative clothing and punk rock attitude was distinctly year 2K. It was dope, man. Totally 'da bomb.
