10 Best Wrestling Trios Ever

4. D-Generation X

Not quite as 'da bomb as the original super-cool renegade trio however.

OK, so Rick Rude was technically an original D-Generation X member, but let's not let facts get in the way of a good story. Rude was only in the faction for a cup of coffee before bolting for WCW, and most barely remember him as Shawn Michaels' hand-picked "insurance policy" anyway. His departure only made Chyna more important.

She was the sole bouncer for Triple H and HBK after that, and she excelled in the role. Her stoic appearance, complete with rock-breaker jaw and cold facial expressions, gave the boys carte blanche to be childish, untouchable d*cks who could get away with pretty much whatever they wanted.

Back in 1997, that kind of thing was precisely the shot in the arm Vince McMahon's WWF needed. Without the hijinks of DX that later facilitated the rise of Steve Austin, the 'Monday Night War' could've been lost a long time ago. People need to remember the role D-Generation X played in turning the screw.
