10 Best Wrestling Whodunit Mysteries

6. Who Is Stalking Sara?

This one is a rarity among wrestling whodunits, because both the build-up and the reveal were fantastic, but they simply couldn't stick the landing, and they squandered and mismanaged all of the angle's potential in the home stretch.

In 2001, a series of grainy black-and-white videos began appearing on WWF TV, showing someone recording footage of The Undertaker's wife Sara. Creepy, taunting voiceovers added to the effect as this mysterious character came after Taker in a manner no one had ever dared before.

On 18 June, Sara's stalker revealed himself as Diamond Dallas Page to a thunderous reaction by the Raw crowd. He claimed he'd only stalked Sara to make an impact, and now had his sights set on the biggest dog in the yard.

Unfortunately, the WWF didn't stick to this, and DDP grew increasingly obsessed with Sara. All of the cool factor of Page's reveal was drained away as Taker bested him at every turn, and he even lost a match to Sara herself before all was said and done.

Although many classify this whodunit as a failure due to the lackluster ending, you can't deny that the build and reveal were excellent.
