Before just recently, Cedric Alexander was beyond directionless on 205 Live, and anyone who witnessed his stellar showings in the Cruiserweight Classic in 2017 is aware that he should have been a top star in the division from the get-go.

Thankfully, Alexander has made the most of any opportunity he's had and has shined against virtually everyone he's been put in the ring with, including a rejuvenated Neville on the Jan. 24 edition of 205 Live. Neville was fresh off a heel turn at the close of 2016, so he too was looking to prove to the people that he was in fact one of the best wrestlers on the roster.

This was nothing short of an breathtaking stint from start to finish with Alexander coming across like an absolute star. Neville also showed he was every bit as brilliant in the ring as a heel as he was as a babyface, and thus this was an outstanding outing.

Neville emerged victorious to maintain his momentum heading into the Royal Rumble, but unfortunately, fans were never treated to a rematch.
