10 Best WWE Attitude Era PPVs

8. Fully Loaded 1999

Fully Loaded 1999 is a great example of what the Attitude Era had to offer, it has everything you could want from the time period. There's hardcore silliness with Al Snow and Big Boss Man, D'Lo Brown brought prestige back to the European Championship and Ken Shamrock faced Steve Blackman as the two martial arts masters fought in the "Iron Circle" The real highlights come elsewhere as hot up-and-comer Edge captured his first championship, defeating a Jeff Jarrett who was just finally finding his footing in WWF. The Acolytes v The Hardy Boys (& Michael Hayes) is an excellent mix of styles, and one of the best tag matches The Acolytes ever had. When you think of "The Attitude Era" odds are you think of Austin v McMahon and D-Generation X, and this show has both in abundance. Mr. Ass & Chyna teamed to take on Road Dogg & X-Pac for the D-X name, and would later go on to play a pivotal role in Triple H defeating The Rock for the #1 contendership in a strap match. Finally, an epic first blood match between Austin and Undertaker. If Undertaker wins, Austin loses not only the WWF Championship but the ability to ever got a shot at the title in the future; if Austin wins, Mr. McMahon has to leave WWF television forever. While some may disagree, this match is arguably the end of the infamous McMahon/Austin feud as when Vince returns it's as a face against the villainous Triple H and McMahon/Austin is never really the forefront of the show after this match. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-b1uhnF0SI
