Brock Lesnar wasted absolutely no time in making things happen when he first arrived in WWE.

The Beast went from debuting the night after WrestleMania X-8 to winning King of the Ring to challenging The Rock for the WWE Championship in the main event of SummerSlam within the space of just five months.

Lesnar beat Rocky so badly that he scurried off to Hollywood in disgrace, before segueing into a rivalry with a man he would become very closely associated with over a decade later: The Undertaker.

Taker and Lesnar fought to a No Contest at Unforgiven before beating each other's brains out in a brutal Hell in a Cell at No Mercy. The champion ended the night standing on top of the structure with the belt held high, one of the coolest visuals in pro wrestling history.

The way in which Brock dropped the title wasn't great - losing to Big Show after Paul Heyman betrayed him - but the nature in which he won it and his stellar programme with The Undertaker helped to wash the taste of that bitter ending out of everybody's mouths.
