10 Best WWE Divas Hired Thanks To The Diva Search

3. Maryse Ouellet

Diva Search: 2006 (7th Place)

In terms overall look, talent and charisma, it's fair to say that Maryse Ouellet has it all. Maryse finished 7th in the 2006 Diva Search, but was quickly hired by WWE and put in their developmental system.

After a couple of years in developmental, she became a wrestler and was pushed strongly as a heel diva that felt natural in the role. She had the mannerisms down pat when she would stick her hand up to block somebody from looking at her, the hair whip, the cockiness and it was just natural for her to be booed.

Her run as a serious wrestler was pretty good from 2008 to 2010. She had two Divas Championship reigns and showed that she was a complete wrestler too. Maryse had good matches on a consistent basis, proving that she was more than just a pretty face. By late 2011, she was released from the company after a failed storyline with Ted Dibiase Jr. where she was his manager. It just seemed like WWE didn't know what to do with her.

During her five year run with WWE, Maryse won the Divas Championship two times. These days, Maryse is out of the business as she's trying her hand at acting while also doing some public signings at various events around the world.

There are always rumors of her coming back to WWE because she left at 28 and at 32 years old still could be a very good performer even if she chooses not to wrestle. Her husband, The Miz, could really benefit from having her in a storyline with him. It would certainly help his egotistical character if he had his beautiful wife by his side.
