8. Finn Balor - Summerslam

Other than Bray Wyatt, Finn Balor is the only Superstar with an entrance worthy of rivalling The Undertaker’s. Although he’s tried to spice things up with chainsaws and top-hats, depending on where he’s wrestling, Balor’s entrance is at its best in its simplest form: a masterpiece of lights, music, body paint, and crowd participation.

Ignoring the injury that followed or the constant overuse of the nickname ‘The Demon King’ that preceded it, Finn’s entrance at Summerslam was exactly the right amount or ridiculous, the kind of theatrics one has come to expect from a wrestler with a vaguely supernatural gimmick. Finn received a warm welcome on an otherwise poor show, one dominated by bizarre booking decisions, an ugly title belt, and Randy Orton’s bleeding head. As such, Balor’s main roster PPV debut flew a little under the radar for most. A shame, considering just how enigmatic an entrance it is.
