If there's one WWE segment from 2017 that you can replay again and again (and, let's face it, there usually is just one) it has to be February's Festival of Friendship.

This, in case your memory needs refreshing, was the moment that Kevin Owens finally kicked Chris Jericho out of his life after months of being joined to him at the hip, a punishment for Y2J getting him roped into a Universal Championship match with Goldberg at Fastlane.

Apart from being brilliantly done - with Jericho slowly learning that the new "list" Owens had gifted him bore his own name - the segment was also a turning point in the career of the Prizefighter, who from then on gave up his wise-cracking persona in favour of a searingly intense bad guy.

Despite going into that night's Raw a heel himself, you actually ended up feeling sorry for Chris Jericho, who had so much warmth and affection for his fellow Canadian that he couldn't even bring himself to fight back. It was genuinely heartbreaking stuff, the type of which that could only come at the climax of such a rich, well-mapped storyline.
