It's a fact known to wrestling fans everywhere that the post-WrestleMania edition of Raw traditionally hosts the loudest and rowdiest WWE crowd of the year, owing to the preponderance of die-hards who have stuck around from the weekend festivities.

WWE isn't oblivious to that either, which means they must have anticipated the incredible din that would greet Roman Reigns when he came down to the ring, just 24 hours after ending Undertaker's career, wearing a smug and self-satisfied grin of which even Stephanie McMahon would be proud.

The genius of this moment was its simplicity. The Big Dog literally said just five words, but he said them only after he had stood in the ring, microphone in hand, for literally minutes - just soaking up all of the hate as though it had absolutely no effect on him.

This was a man who had just brought the curtain down on the career of the company's longest-serving and most iconic performer. You would have expected him, as a fellow face, to be full of deference for the Deadman's achievements, sorrowfully ruing that he had to be the one to put him out of misery. Instead, he enjoyed every second of it, the absolute fiend.
