24 hours removed from winning the first ever all-female Royal Rumble match, Asuka battled Sasha Banks on the 29 January episode of Raw. It turned out to be 14 minutes of excitement, and it remains the best match Banks has worked this year. Sadly for the 'Legit Boss' it was legit all down hill from here.

Maybe it's the same for Asuka, but let's focus on why the match was great instead of that.

Between Sasha almost making the Suicide Dive spot literal by catching the ropes with her feet before being blasted by Asuka's kick and the sweet counter submissions that came before the clean finish, this was a minor classic. It's deserving of your attention again, if only to remind oneself what Banks is capable of when she's not weighed down by crappy booking.

A women's match to be proud of for both, it played to Asuka's strengths (strikes, submissions and grasping victory from the jaws of defeat) and gave her even more momentum post-Rumble. Go out of your way to revisit this.
