10 Best WWE In Your House Matches EVER

1. Shawn Michaels Vs The Undertaker (Badd Blood: In Your House)

A match literally unlike any other in company history at that point, Badd Blood's Hell In A Cell was a perfect marriage of workrate and Sports Entertainment, right up to the transcendent closing moments for a major new star.

The famed "Last Battle Of Atlanta" had put a roof on a cage in 1983, but WWE's return to mesh 14 years later brought with it more space and sizzle. The pair had the ringside area to work with and a structure that looked like it dwarfed the standard blue bar steel cage that remained in situ for another few years.

Shawn Michaels - alongside the nascent D-Generation X - had been abusing The Undertaker and getting the f*ck out of dodge before he could face the consequences, making the structure the perfect rat trap for 'The Deadman'. A WWE Title shot awaited the winner, but that rhetoric was lost as Undertaker dished out one of the finest and most cathartic beatings the organisation had ever presented before the cagey and cunning Michaels slipped free and - with no other choice - fought to win.

Elegantly solving the issue of just how he'd escape (pr*ck 'HBK' decked a pretend camera man and bailed when the medics came to see to him), Michaels went face-first into the exterior and tumbled off one of the sides in spots that spelled certain doom before Kane's debut allowed for his fortuitous survival.

Mick Foley might have made a moment to surpass them all the next time the structure appeared on pay-per-view, but the original was never bettered.
