4. "I'm Starting To Understand Your Fascination With Bayley..."
It turns out wrestlers aren't the only ones in WWE capable of mic drop moments. The commentary team - or, at least, Corey Graves - is also prone to the odd zinger, as evidenced this year by the career-ending quip he aimed at an unsuspecting Byron Saxton.
In case you missed it, the pair of them were watching Bayley make a typically lively and high-spirited entrance back in March when Graves, apropos of nothing, told his broadcast colleague he had finally figured out the explanation for his apparent infatuation with Bayley.
According to his theory, it was because the only meaningful relationships Byron has ever had have been with inflatable people, a reference to the rainbow-coloured arm-waving tube men that pop out of the stage whenever the Huggable One walks out. Ouch.
It was perhaps the best line Graves delivered this year, but by no means the only one. The former NXT star is fast growing into one of the best colour commentators WWE has ever had, and it's moments like this that are helping put him there.
