But he ended it strongly by capturing the Cruiserweight Title from Neville and then becoming the focal point of the entire division in his absence - a remarkable turnaround that owed principally to his ability to connect with the crowd in his promos.

Ironically, one of his best zingers actually came slap-bang in the middle of a match, when he grabbed hold of a handy microphone and told The Miz - who had been out celebrating Maryse's pregnancy moments earlier - that his kid ought to be asking, "who's your daddy?"

Mainly, this was such a memorable moment because of the reactions of Miz and, in particular, his manager-cum-wife. Both of them looked like they had no idea that WWE's Certified G was about to make such a personal jibe (and given Enzo's backstage reputation, it's entirely possible they didn't).
