Speaking of Chyna, she was first introduced to the WWE Universe as the bodyguard of a young Hunter Hearst Helmsley, just days after Hunter's first Intercontinental title run came to an end.

Prior to Chyna, Hunter used the likes of Sable, Mr. Perfect, and even Curtis Hughes to try and make a lasting impact, but it wasn't until Chyna was brought on board that Helmsley's career took an upward trajectory.

Hunter's first run as Intercontinental Champion lasted nearly four months as he fought back the challenges of Marc Mero, Steve Austin, and Goldust. His feuds with Rocky Maivia over the title were some of the high points of the Intercontinental Championship during '97 and '98 and that's saying something.

A brief run coming out of SummerSlam '98 was shortened due to injury, but by then Hunter Hearst Helmsley had already made his mark.
