10 Best WWE Matches Ever To Take Place In Canada

2. Bret Hart, Owen Hart, Jim Neidhart, British Bulldog, Brian Pillman Vs Steve Austin, Ken Shamrock, Goldust, Hawk And Animal - Canadian Stampede (Calgary)

wwe.comwwe.comThis match was as Canadian as they come! In many ways it was Canada vs the United States, which instantly makes it a great story to watch. For the Calgary natives in attendance they had a real reason to be invested in the match, it was more than a personal rivalry, it was about national pride. The teams also happened to be made up of some of the finest workers of the era. The Hart Foundation in particular were blessed with Bret Hart, Owen Hart and British Bulldog. Bret was somewhat of a national hero at the time, backed up his astute ability in the ring. The heel side was equally skilled, Steve Austin was emerging as the biggest star ever and he was teaming with some of the biggest wrestling names of the era. Once the action got underway it was a full on brawl, mixed in with suplexes, top rope spots, high kicks and power moves. The ending came after Austin got into a brawl with the Hart family sat at ringside, leading Bret to blindside Austin back into the ring where Owen rolled him up for the pin. Canada went crazy with joy!
