8. John Morrison, Trish Stratus & Snooki vs. Dolph Ziggler & LayCool - WrestleMania 27
Some celebrity matches adopt the philosophy of "the shorter, the better" and the WrestleMania 27 bout involving Snooki from "Jersey Shore" was once such case. To her credit, she took her appearance at the event and in the match seriously, something that cannot be said for all celebs, and the short period of time that the performers had to fill worked to her advantage. None of her weaknesses were exposed. Instead, she was allowed to shine for a brief moment in time and actually impress fans with her athleticism, which she developed during her days as a gymnast. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xhyoii_john-morrison-trish-stratus-snooki-vs-dolph-ziggler-laycool-vickie-guerrero_shortfilms Sure, as is the case in most celebrity encounters, the talented ring workers surrounding her did most of the work and ensured the quality of the bout. With that said, a poor or embarrassing performance on her part could have easily ruined the entire match and served as a major black eye on an event already considered by many to be one of the worst in WrestleMania history. Instead, she held up her end of the bargain and the match succeeded because of it. Even if is still on the lower end of the celebrity match spectrum.
