The Tag Team championship switch marked Austin's first piece of recognized gold in WWE, in a match on free television no less. That's not to insult the match any, as it was a pay-per-view quality fracas that barely slowed down to suck wind.

Austin and Michaels were mentioned two entries ago as reluctant partners, and this would be the match that paid that off.

As exciting as the actual fast-paced match was, the aftermath with Austin assaulting a wounded Bret Hart atop the entrance stage adds a little more to its legacy, blending lawlessness and great wrestling in one nifty package. It was a harbinger of days to come for this new period in WWE's history, and the crowd ate it up thusly.
