8. Vs. Rey Mysterio (Extreme Rules 2011)
The falls count anywhere match was, like many matches at Extreme Rules or Backlash or whatever, a WrestleMania rematch, and a wild one it was. Both men took the match into the the public areas of the venue, which saw Mysterio land a cross-body off of a concession stand, and Rhodes lock Mysterio into a complex Boston crab across a length of railing. By this time, Rhodes was proving to be a highly creative performer.
Mysterio busted out some Great Kabuki-style green mist in setting up the finish, but the loss didn't harm Rhodes any. Later that summer, he would become Intercontinental Champion after going over on Ezekiel Jackson, and he would further flesh out his role of disturbed narcissist.
