10 Best WWE Matches That Ever Happened At Nassau Colliseum

6. The Dream Team Vs. The British Bulldogs - WrestleMania II

WrestleMania II was not a great show, by any stretch of the imagination. Firstly, it was held in three separate locations (dumbest idea ever?). Secondly, it featured the awful 'boxing match' between Mr. T and Roddy Piper. And thirdly it was headlined by an interminable and predictable King Kong Bundy versus Hulk Hogan cage match. Thankfully, there was at least one decent match in the form of the super-taltented The British Bulldogs (Davey Boy Smith and The Dynamite Kid) taking on the not-so-talened-but-still-fairly-decent Dream Team (Greg Valentine and Brutus Beefcake). This really was a showcase for the Bulldogs, who were such a well-oiled machine at this point. Dynamite, in particular, looked good. It's amazing to think how far he could have gone in another era (with softer rings) or had he not been broken down by injuries. The Bulldogs and The Dream Team had some better matches together (including a classic 2/3 match on Saturday Night's Main Event) but this one deserves its place, given the historic setting. Post-match Captain Lou Albano and Ozzy Osbourne got in the ring and celebrated with the Championship belts. The Rock 'N Wrestling era, ladies and gentleman.
