10 Best WWE Matches That Ever Happened At Nassau Colliseum
5. Chris Jericho Vs. The Rock - Raw November 5th 2001
A lot of people rag on the Invasion storyline and, while there is no doubt that it was a major disappointment on many levels, we at least got some incredible matches out of it. Jericho and The Rock (who were both members of Team WWF but were feuding with one another) had several high caliber matches during this period. Their match at No Mercy in October was a total show-stealer and a Match of the Year contender. They had undeniable chemistry with one another and usually delivered the goods. These were two guys who you could count on to close a show in style, which is exactly what they did on the November 5th 2001 Raw. Y2J and The Great One had a great, dramatic match before a hot crowd in the Nassau Coliseum. Jericho lost the WCW Championship when The Rock hooked him with an inside cradle (the fans went berserk, naturally) but Jericho got his revenge with a brutal post-match attack. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ei985Yf6guM
