10 Best WWE NXT Moments Since Moving To USA Network
8. Fandango And Tyler Breeze Fulfilling Their Dreams
Fandango made his on screen debut as Johnny Curtis in the game show era of NXT, before transitioning onto the main roster. He made an impact at first but slipped rapidly down the card. Tyler Breeze was a beloved star of NXT's first years as a developmental brand, a character who fans wanted to see succeed on the larger than life WWE main roster but who didn't get a chance to do anything major.
Both men were imaginative, talented in the ring, and when they teamed together as the Fashion Police, they created comedic gold. But they were failed by creative and management, and eventually disappeared from television all together. They never won championships together.
But suddenly, after a lengthy injury for Fandango, both men were in NXT, teaming together on a brand that let them wrestle. Some of their vibrant personalities and comedic talents were underplayed, but their strengths as active competitors had never been more evident. After a few months, they obtained their first championships as a duo by dethroning Imperium on an episode of NXT television. It was a cathartic moment for two fan favourites who had worked for years to get this recognition.
