7. The One Night Reunion Of Time Splitters

The duo of Alex Shelley and KUSHIDA, otherwise known as the Time Splitters, are one of the best tag teams of the 2010s. Their infectious wholesome chemistry contrasts perfectly with their immense junior heavyweight style of tag team wrestling, cementing themselves as two of the best babyfaces in the world with their triumphant performances.

After a phenomenal few years in New Japan Pro Wrestling and Ring Of Honor, both men went their separate ways, with KUSHIDA defining NJPW's juniors division for years until his exit in 2019. After KUSHIDA's signing to NXT, it seemed like the chances of a Time Splitters reunion were minimal as Shelley's a free agent who mostly works with ROH and IMPACT.

However, for the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic this year, the Time Splitters briefly reunited and it was wonderful. The two were clearly delighted to be working together for the first time in five years, and it was simply euphoric to see the duo on screen again. It still stings that they went with the impromptu Pete Dunne and Matt Riddle team to win the tournament instead of booking more matches with these two together, as it made for truly spectacular television.
