5. Angel Garza's Cruiserweight Title Win And Celebration
While Angel Garza is now working as a charismatic midcard heel on Monday Night Raw, it's easy to forget that he was a popular babyface in NXT not even a year ago and that his win over Lio Rush for the Cruiserweight Championship was widely celebrated by the fans in attendance.
The two popular cruiserweight wrestlers had worked together before in a title contest in November 2019, where Rush successfully retained his championship after an excellent match. The two would exceed their own efforts in the rematch that December, where both showed the potential of the cruiserweight division in terms of physical accomplishments and emotional storytelling.
The match was incredible, containing possibly the most jaw-dropping Springboard Stunner in WWE history from Rush, and allowed Garza to showcase his unbelievable physical charisma. He felt like a total package in this match and the genuine delight from the Full Sail crowd upon his submission victory made him and the division feel massive.
In addition to this, after the match, he emotionally celebrated his win with his girlfriend before getting down on one knee and proposing. She said yes and the crowd erupted in joy, creating an all time great NXT moment.
