WWE pay-per-views in 1990 were generally long, drawn-out cards full of crap with a decent main event. The undercard usually produced one match of note, and that match was almost always The Rockers vs. The Orient Express. They would have better matches than this one (their 1991 Royal Rumble match is a legitimate classic), but their WrestleMania VI bout shouldn't be sniffed at either.

Mr. Fuji would often be a little heavy with his interference, but put these four men in a ring in 1990 and you were guaranteed to get some high paced, innovative tag team wrestling. The finish was admittedly nonsense, as Sato and Tanaka picked up the countout win after Jannetty fell prey to Fuji's salt of doom.

You have to remember that back in the late '80s and early '90s wrestlers were obsessed with staying strong, and therefore being pinned clean rarely happened. This was one of three big matches on the SkyDome card that ended in countout after all. Still, it was Rockers/Express, so of course it was great.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
