10 Best WWE PPV Matches That Ever Happened In September

7. John Cena vs. Randy Orton - WWE Title I Quit (Breaking Point 2009)

There have been so many Cena/Orton matches in the last seven years that it's sometimes hard to keep track of them. Some of their matches are pretty boring while others are sneaky good like this one was in Montreal in 2009. Orton was the heel WWE Champion that had a good run as part of the Legacy group while Cena was in his usual role as the fighter that won't give up. What was cool about this one as an I Quit match was they were able to use weapons all around the ring and that's exactly what they did. It was a slow pace with Orton in control for a lot of it, but then they cranked up in the second half. They did something we hadn't seen in a long time as Orton pulled out a bag from under the ring that had handcuffs in it. He cuffed Cena's hand to the top rope, then he cuffed Cena's hands together and Orton methodically brought the pain. Cena was able to fight out of the cuffs by giving Orton a backdrop outside the ring, then he cuffed himself to Orton and made the big comeback. Cena won after using the handcuffs to strangle Orton while had him in the STF submission hold. Orton ended up quitting and Cena became the new WWE Champion. Orton did a really good job as a Jake Roberts-like heel that was smart about everything he did. Cena really performed well too. When you read about the handcuff thing you might not think it would work, but after watching it again it definitely helped the match.
