Sit through the Greatest Royal Rumble's mammoth 4:58:35 run time (and that's without the hour-long Kickoff portion), and you deserve some sort of award. As aforementioned, the show didn't do much to reinvent the wheel, but it did provide one hell of a four-way Ladder Match between Seth Rollins, The Miz, Samoa Joe and Finn Bálor.

Bolstered by the addition of Joe and the ladder gimmick, the trio who had previously done such a fine job opening WrestleMania 34 were given a new dynamic. This meant they didn't have to recycle the same match they'd worked in New Orleans.

That's a good thing. It would have been easy for WWE to throw the same match out there under the guise of some "WrestleMania Revenge" banner.

Nestled in between a throwaway Bludgeon Brothers vs. The Usos tag match and the AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura rematch, the four-way IC Title bout lit up the show and helped (briefly) drag it above glorified house show status.
