The Highlights: All right, so the star studded SummerSlam wasn't everything fans hoped it would be, but there was still plenty of intrigue going into Raw the next night. What would become of the WWE Universal Championship after Finn Bálor was declared injured? Were The Dudley Boyz biding farewell to the fans? Would there be any NXT call-ups?

Well, all of those questions were answered over the course of the evening. Seeing Bálor relinquish the gold was sad, but he did it with as much class as he could. The Dudley Boyz had a heartfelt farewell where they put over The Club on their way out and Bayley finally arrived on the main roster by confronting Charlotte. It wasn't the greatest Raw all year, but it was a definite improvement over SummerSlam.

The Low Points: The three hours pretty much flew by, and there was actually very little to complain about, with the exception of the dreadful segment featuring Titus O'Neil and Darren Young (this is a familiar refrain) where O'Neil set a new record for most amount of words botched in one promo. It was pretty astounding. No, actually, on a second thought, it was absolutely atrocious.
