10 Best WWE Raw Episodes Of 2016

The Highlights: The road to the WrestleMania 32 was officially underway, and coming off an excellent Royal Rumble pay-per-view the night prior, all eyes were on this episode of Raw from 25 January. Expectations were especially heightened since The Rock teased earlier in the day that he would be in town for Raw, and sure enough, he showed up for a hilarious segment with The New Day.
In addition to a return from Rock, this show also saw AJ Styles make his highly anticipated debut on the flagship show in a dream match against Chris Jericho, which he won. Elsewhere on the card, Dolph Ziggler and Kevin Owens did battle and produced yet another entertaining affair.
The Low Points: Interestingly enough, none of the aforementioned matches closed out the event. Instead, it was Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose teaming up to take on League of Nations in an uninteresting match while several other superstars competed in matches to impress The Authority so they could be put in the No. 1 Contender's match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Fastlane.
Among those matches, Bray Wyatt faced Kane (enough said) and Kalisto faced The Miz. Paige and Natalya also returned in a random tag team match against Alicia Fox and Brie Bella which was undoubtedly designed to promote Total Divas.
