10 Best WWE Shows That Don't Exist Anymore

8. Wrestling Challenge

Running from 1986-1995, Wrestling Challenge is still remembered by a certain generation of wrestling fans. There was a time, right before Superstars took over and Monday Night Raw even existed, that the show was the top broadcast weekly for the WWF. It wasn't uncommon to see all the top stars appear on Wrestling Challenge, although most matches were squash bouts. In addition to pre-taped promos, matches and merchandise shills, the show also featured the 'Snake Pit' segment. Hosted by Jake 'The Snake' Roberts, the interview skits were wildly popular, and helped break up the monotony of simply having squash matches galore. In fairness, it wasn't all squashes, there were occasionally marquee matches presented on Wrestling Challenge. By the time the show ended in 1995, it was a shadow of what had come before. As aforementioned, Monday Night Raw had become the promotion's flagship TV telecast, so Wrestling Challenge didn't really have much of a place. Segments such as 'The King's Court' with Jerry Lawler did still feature from time-to-time, right up until the show was cancelled.
