Brock Lesnar's soul-destroying feud with Triple H didn't go remotely far enough in reviving his frightening aura after suicidal booking saw him lose to John Cena at Extreme Rules 2012, but two dominant wins in 2014 thankfully transformed that just in time to earn 'The Beast' a meaty new contract months later.

By WrestleMania 30, most had considered The Undertaker's streak something too mythical to tinker with. 'The Deadman's WrestleMania 29 victory over CM Punk had been enjoyable in and of itself, but didn't remotely capture the dread and danger that crept back in during his magnificent four-year run against Shawn Michaels and Triple H.

That, intrinsically, was why Lesnar's victory was so powerful. As masterfully marketed by WWE in the years since, fans were frozen in shock and awe at the result - the cries and gasps as the '21-1' graphic appeared on arena screens could be heard before the heartbreaking statistic was visible at home.

His SummerSlam 2014 squash over John Cena was the perfect sequel. Squeezing the power from The Undertaker to imbibe it himself at WrestleMania, Lesnar was untouchable and unstoppable against a mere mortal. 'Big Match John' wasn't prepared for his 'Biggest Fight Of The Summer', but sold and lost in such a way that made it seem as nobody could have stepped to Brock by then anyway...
