10 Best WWE Tag Teams Of The 2000s

8. Los Guerreros

Eddie Guerrero was initially upset when he learned of the creative team's decision to package him and his nephew Chavo as a couple of lying, cheating and stealing characters. Guerrero thought it was a step backwards and would be offensive to hispanic people. Eddie was pleasantly proved wrong when fans took to the gimmick, however, and Los Guerreros got more over in the process eventually leading to Eddie turning babyface and set on a path that would culminate in him winning the WWE Title. Los Guerreros were as smooth as silk in the ring together and relied on old-school psychology and hard work to engage the masses. Eddie was the ring general and Chavo took his instruction and together they contested some watertight matches with Kurt Angle & Chris Benoit and Edge & Rey Mysterio as members of the so-called 'Smackdown Six'. One of their best moments had to be winning the WWE Tag Team Titles at Madison Square Garden at Survivor Series 2002. They'd come along way from tagging in the back garden together when they were kids.
