10 Best WWE Tag Teams Of The 2000s

7. Paul London & Brian Kendrick

Most people didn't give Paul London and Brian Kendrick a chance when they signed for WWE. Still very much the land of the big man, London and Kendrick were cruiserweight wrestlers (and smaller ones at that). The two toiled at the bottom of the card for years before finally finding success in 2006 when they began to regularly team with each other. They won the WWE Tag Team Titles beating MNM at Judgement Day 2006 and went on to become the fourth longest-reigning tag team champions in WWE history, before losing the titles to Deuce ' Domino. London and Kendrick knew their size in the ring and used it to their advantage. That's one of the reasons their matches were so exciting. That and the fact they were willing to do anything to get the match over, including all manner of suicidal divas and bumps. London and Kendrick lobbied to compete under the name of The Hooliganz, even going as far as to put the name on their wrestling attire, but were unsuccessful. Regardless of what name they competed under, London and Kendrick were always entertaining and had a very memorable run with the belts. The exciting match they had with the inexperienced K.C James and Idol Stevens (now Damien Sandow) at No Mercy 2006 was nothing short of a miracle, considering their challenger's shortcomings. After being drafted to Raw, the team got lost in the shuffle before their erratic backstage behaviour got them both released. They now team on the independent circuit and are as free spirited as ever.
