10 Best WWE Talkers Since 2010

7. John Cena

Since 2002, John Cena has been a fixture on WWE programming. While he worked his way up the card and eventually became the face of the WWE sometime in the mid-2000s, it was John's voice that gained him his chance at superstardom.

The quick-talking, rhyme-writin', bar-spittin' ways of the Doctor Of Thuganomics captivated audiences (and McMahons) and before long, he was catapulted to the top of the sports-entertainment world.

While he would eventually shed the Word-Life, rapper gimmick (and put-on accent that came with it), Cena never lost the ability to cut a promo.

Perhaps the best example of this came during his rivalry with The Rock in the lead up to WrestleMania XXVIII. In the months that preceded WrestleMania, fans witnessed back-and-forth promo battles in which Cena more than held his own against the man many consider the greatest talker of all time.

While Cena definitely has his share of embarrassing moments and cringe-worthy promos that can't be erased, fans shouldn't be fooled by the shortcomings of the storylines or writing team.

The longtime face of the WWE is one of the greatest promos ever.
