10 Best WWE Theme Songs By Famous Artists

2. "Real American" - Rick Derringer (Hulk Hogan)

Hulk Hogan's entrance music is the king of all "rah-rah" babyface anthems. Come to think of it, it should be the National Anthem of the United States.

...okay, maybe that's a stretch.

Anyway, many forget that this song was not a product of Jim Johnston and that it was actually performed by Rick Derringer of "Rock and Roll, Hoochie Koo" fame. Nowadays, more people seem to remember "Real American" than they do any of his other songs, as strange as that may seem.

Though Hogan has also been known to jam his way down the ramp to the sound of Jimi Hendrix's "Voodoo Child (Slight Return)," it is this hokey little ditty that has gone on to define the red and yellow Superman of professional wrestling. With its catchy (albeit archetypal) '80s guitar riff and its mawkish and jingoistic lyrics, you can't help but feel good whenever this song blasts through an arena.

Oh, also, Rick Derringer did Demolition's entrance music as well. Yeah.
