10 Best WWE Win/Loss Records Of 2017 So Far
4. Neville (W17 - L6 - D0)
Nobody should be surprised by Neville’s high ranking. The former NXT Champion is completely reborn as ‘The King Of The Cruiserweights,’ and 205 Live has been built around him since the turn of the year. He’s one of the strongest booked wrestlers in WWE today, and he’s absolutely thriving at the moment, with his outstanding in-ring performances matched by the best character work of his career.
Neville has a 74% win rate. His singles record is close to flawless, with his sole defeat coming through a disqualification against Austin Aries at Payback, leaving him with a stunning 16-1 record. The Geordie is a lot less successful in tag bouts, going just 1-5 within that constellation, but he took the fall in just one of these matches (tapping out to Aries on May 29th), and hasn’t been pinned all year.
‘The King’ has mounted six successful Cruiserweight Title defences since taking the strap in January. He has become the Ace of 205 Live, and his monster push means that whoever finally defeats him in singles competition is going to get a huge rub.
WWE don’t do a great job of creating new stars anymore, but their handling of Neville has been stellar.
